To get to the Tucan Lodge B&B, start at Horconcitos. This small village is approximately 40 km east of David, near the Interamerican Highway.

Here the paved road ends, and you will continue by taxi to Boca Chica.

The taxi driver will charge $ 17  -20 for the trip, which is 15 km long.

They are working for a better road.  Now, you can use a rented car also in rainseason. (June 2008)

From Boca Chica you can go by boat to the Tucan - Lodge B&B for ~ $ 4.
